Sarah's Bio
Sarah Arnold is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW) working with individuals, children & teens age 11+ as well as adults, couples and families. She has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, including individuals with autism and ADHD, as well as parents and families navigating new diagnoses, parental overwhelm, family communication challenges, and helping couples reconnect through periods of stress and hardship.
Sarah blends warmth and depth, creating space for both connection and the hard emotions clients carry. She holds a BA in Human Relations and Spirituality and an MA in Counselling, Psychotherapy and Spirituality with a special focus on couples and families. Alongside her professional training, Sarah brings lived experience as a neurodivergent therapist, as well as a parent of neurodivergent children she has raised into adulthood, offering both clinical expertise and genuine understanding. Sarah understands firsthand what it can feel like to move through a world not always built for neurodivergent minds.
Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients feel understood, respected, and supported. Sarah often incorporates creativity, art, play, and practical strategies into therapy. Drawing from approaches including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), she adapts therapy to each client’s unique needs and goals.
